Welcome baby Kennedy!

We would love to welcome the newest member of our Warren Dentistry family, miss Kennedy Victoria Crenshaw! She was born at 2:45am on January 30, 2010. She weighed 5 pounds and 11 ounces. She was 17.75 inches long. Shoshanna and family are doing well. She will be staying home with her sweet baby girl for 6 months to enjoy being a new mommy.
We would also like to welcome the two new Hygienists that will be here in Shoshanna’ s place for the time when she will be at home with her new baby. On Mondays, we will have Misti Lenior. Her bubbly personality and gentle nature make her a great fit for our office. We will also have another Hygienist named Heidi Stancliffe who will be here for the rest of the week days. She also has an upbeat and positive attitude to contribute to this exciting practice.
We are looking forward to all the terrific things to come in February! Come by and see us and say hi to the new girls on the block!

Welcome to 2010!

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to 2010! We sincerely hope each of you had a great time with each of your families in celebrating the New Year! For those of you that took notice, there was also a “blue moon” that evening! It was suppossed to have been the last time we will see it on New Years Eve for 19 years! Pretty exciting! It was beautiful! We send special thanks to the patients who made us aware of that very special event!
We have truly hit the ground running in the new year! There are so many really great things going on! We are super excited about the new patients who are coming in and blessing our practice. We are so excited to meet each of you!
Remember, there is never a better time to start your day with a beautiful smile!

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays from the team at Warren Dentistry!
We want to thank everyone for all the generous gifts that you brought to us for the holiday season! The candies and foods were absolutely delicious. We are pretty sure that we have all put on our winter weight because of it!
We had our office Christmas Party this year at the Keg Restaurant. We had such great food and fellowship with each other! Did I mention the food?? We had steak and lobster, and it was just so great that most of us almost had to be rolled out of the restaurant!! We presented Dr. Warren with a Kindle and he was super excited! What a great night!
We have also made some small “face lifts” around the office. The front office area has a new paint job, and we have revamped our break room area to be more accomodating to Dr. Warren’s growing staff!
Our hygienist, Shoshanna Crenshaw will be leaving us for 6 months in February to have a baby! This is her first child with her husband of 11 years, Victor. We are super excited for the arrival of her baby girl! She is graciously accepting gifts of diapers from all her patients!
Amy Guess, the former receptionist of 2 years at our practice, has officially moved back to Bakersfield, California where her family is living now. Her new baby, Kallie is almost 2 months old and doing great!
We are ready to begin a fabulous New Year! We are also looking forward to all the new faces that will come to bless our practice ( as well as the familiar faces too) . Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making 2009 such a sucessful and fulfilling year for all of us!

Welcome aboard!

It has been a long while since we last updated anything, so here are some announcements concerning a few new faces around the office.
We are very pleased to have Misty Boughton on board at the front desk! As many of you may know, Aimee Guess, our receptionist for the past two years is pregnant and will be leaving us in the future to begin a new and exciting part of her life. Misty will be taking over Aimee’s front desk duties, so be sure to welcome her aboard. Misty brings years of experience in customer service and will constantly strive to meet all of your needs.
We also are excited to have Delaina Hunter as a part of the team! She is Dr. Warren’s newest assistant and has been a dental assistant for over 4 years. She came to us from an orthodontic practice and has accepted the challenges and differences of a comprehensive practice vs a specialized one. She is doing an excellent job for us and we are very blessed to have apart of our office family.
As always we will try to use this site to update you on the happenings at our office and to bring you any new exciting changes that we continue to incorporate in the office. Hope you are having a wonderful summertime! We hope that if you are travelling this summer, please be safe and enjoy it!

Hot Weekend!!
June 30, 2009
This past weekend I finally found the time to take the kids out to Glen Rose, TX. We all went to the Fossil Rim Wildlife park. I have to say this is the neatest experience I have ever had. I can now say that I fed a Zebra and a GIRAFFE, by hand. If anyone is looking for a great time to spend with your children, I would definitely consider this a treat.
The only complaint – It was way to HOT!!! 106F – gotta love Texas summers

10 years and counting!!

My wife Devon and I just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on June 5, 2009. We look forward to many more happy years.
We went to a great resaurant, the Lonesome Dove Western Bistro. If you have not tried it yet you are missing out. It is by far my new favorite restaurant here in Fort Worth.

IV Sedation

We now are offering IV Sedation to our patients to calm the fears and anxiety of dental treatment!
As many of you are familiar with, we have been offering Sedation Dentistry to all of our patients to help combat dental phobias. As you could imagine, this has allow many patients to seek dental care after years of neglect because the fear and anxiety are replaced with a “dreamy” state. The majority of patients have been sedated using a pill (either Triazolam or Ativan). These are extremely safe drugs and are very effective in reducing anxiety. They also, in most individuals, have a very nice amnesia effect.
Now, because the effectiveness of the oral medicines diminishes the more it is used, I needed to find a new way of giving people the sedation that would be needed to complete their dental procedures. This is when I decided to pursue courses in IV Sedation techniques.
After a very extensive 6 month mini-residency in Portland, OR and Tuscon, AZ, I now am able to perform IV Moderate Sedations in the office. There are very few General Dentists that can offer this level of controlled sedation, so a need can now be met. The major difference is the ability to control the sedation, a faster recovery time, and it is much more effective than oral sedation.
We are extremely excited about this new sedation technique and feel that it just adds to our arsenal to control the fear and anxiety of people when it comes to the dentist.

An All New Look!!

Welcome to my Blog! (This is very new to me but I will give it my best shot.)
I want to welcome everyone, new and old, to our completely revamped and updated website. It has been a very long process to get the new site up and running, but I feel that it showcases what we are all about here in my practice.
I am always asked what is new in my practice and I think I have finally found a way to keep everyone updated about the improvements in technologies, the new faces (and some old ones), and personal updates of my team and myself. I am excited about having the opportunity to share with everyone what is happening in our lives and with the office.
We hope that you enjoy the new website and that it will answer a lot of the questions that you may have regarding procedures and techniques used in the office.
